We are the Crabtrees!

It's official... we are married! November 8, 2008 we tied the knot on a chilly autumn afternoon. In short : it was beautiful; everything I wanted it to be; I got pooped on by a goose after the ceremony while taking pictures; had our first dance (You are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne); got red wine spilled all down my dress; BUT it was still so fun!

3 weeks before the wedding, I decided I wanted something like what Jenna Bush had in her outdoor wedding- a cross and altar kind of look. Jenna had limestone. I thought I'd settle for wood. We took the picture from People Magazine to our friends Dick and Nancy Barnhart and within the week, they had made the huge cross. Jeremy, his dad, and Dick went out later that week and cut down the tree to make the altar. It was really special to say the least. The ceremony was beautiful and I have never been happier. I was way more stressed than I ever thought I would be the day of our wedding, until I walked down the aisle and saw Jeremy. (cheesey, yet very true). The whole day was pretty surreal. My mom did an amazing job planning!! She's the best!
We are still getting settled into our house, and loving being married. God has really been good to us!
