My sweet friends from small group
Aunt Ko came all the way from Memphis- 7 hours to meet her sweet nephew!
Going Home!

We are so blessed and excited about our new son. (its weird saying that. and even weirder to say I'm his "parent.") Jacob decided to come 11 days early which we were thrilled about! The whole experience was amazing- my water broke at midnight and Jeremy and I were like chickens with our heads cut off trying to pack the car and not forget anything. We were in shock, excited and scared to death all at once. My parents jumped in the car and drove through the night to be there which was so fun and such a blessing! I'll leave all the details out about the delivery, but it was 15 hours of labor and 20 minutes of pushing. Praise God no C-section and a healthy baby! {funny side note- we still had not decided on a boy name, so after the delivery while they were cleaning him up, we had to discuss in front of the nurses and doctor what we were going to do- Jeremy wanted to use "Ray" because it would be 4 generations of using that for a middle name and the only name we both agreed on was Jacob, which we love} Our joke has been after these long nightsthat we've been "wrestling with Jacob all night" like the angel did in scripture. Ha. We feel so blessed and are overwhelmed by God's goodness and favor. Praise Him!
